Legends Motorworks LLC of Alexandria is manned by a talented staff of car enthusiasts and mechanics with over 55 years combined experience. The shop is located just across Route 1 from the Potomac Yards Shopping Center, one minute south of Crystal City.

Over many years, Greg has built a reputation of great service for a fair price. He and his staff are willing to tackle jobs that many other auto shops will turn away. They also love working on old cars; there is always at least one old interesting car in the shop. It might be a muscle car, an antique car, or even a replica Cobra.

The shop is fully equipped with all of the necessary equipment, including diagnostic machines, tire machines, front end equipment, brake lathes, air conditioning flush machine, cooling system recycling machine, etc. Besides offering the standard maintenance and repairs, Greg will also take on motor repair, engine rebuilding, transmission repair, and transmission rebuilding. Greg himself is a transmission specialist. His father owned Custom Transmission Service, Inc. when Greg was growing up, so he has over 35 years of experience in transmission repair work.

Many shops do not want to take in electrical work, because it can be difficult and time consuming. Legends Motorworks does electrical system problem analysis and repair.

They also offer exhaust system repair and exhaust system replacement, repair and service air conditioning systems, and heat and cooling system repairs. All standard repairs are offered including complete brake jobs, tune-ups, and oil changes.

Many shops do not actually have their own front end machine, and they send your car to another shop for that work. Legends Motorworks has a top of the line and fully featured front end machine.

Tire mounting and balancing is a specialty, even with those difficult custom wheels and mags. Legends Motorworks has new tires in stock; and if they don’t have it, they will work closely with you to source just the right tires for your vehicle.

Greg has many years of experience as a car enthusiast and has worked on all types of cars himself, so he really knows what it takes to properly prepare and maintain a special car.
